Catholic non-profits that pay their employees’ health insurance aren’t conserned about the price of contraceptiion - cutting them doesn’t save much. It’s more about their moral objection to women’s reproductive choises.
Not to be a douche, but am I the only one who sympathizes with the gun-toting thug? I agree. How dare they deny women their right to birth control.
You know, I kinda glossed over the dialogue, whicch is fucking terrible. If you’re aiming at broad caricature, the thug should be demanding the money, instead of making sense. And the priest’s “No” is just hilarious. “Durrr, nope!”
Given how this whole mess is going, shouldn’t it be the priest holding the gun to the mandate’s head, though?
You’re not looking at this like a conservative. Don’t you know that opression is freedom and emancipation is opression?
